PORRITT CARE is an Oscar-approved After School Care and Holiday Programme offered exclusively to the children who attend Porritt Primary School, under the guidance of the Porritt Primary School Board of Trustees.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Before school = 7.30am - 8.30am
After school = 3.00pm - 5.30pm
Holiday programme = 7.30am - 5.30pm
SESSION FEES
Porritt Care charge a flat rate of $6 per hour. Minimum charge is one hour.
Before school:
7.30 - 8.30 = $6
After school:
3.00 - 4.00 = $6
3.00 - 4.30 = $9
3.00 - 5.00 = $12
3.00 - 5.30 = $15
Each afternoon we supply afternoon tea. If your child has any medical or dietary requirements please let us know.
Children have the option to participate in planned craft and sport activities. Devices stay off until 4.30pm.
ABSENCES & CANCELLATIONS
Any absence from a booked day must be notified to the Porritt Care team by 1pm each day, either by email on porrittcare@porritt.school.nz or phone/text 02108182088, Similarly, if anyone other than those on the pick-up list is to collect your child from Porritt Care you must notify the staff before they will allow your child to leave with that person. Absences from a booked day are still charged for at the booked daily rate.
Cancellations must be made 48 HOURS in advance. Absences notified less than 48 HOURS in advance may be charged at the full booked rate, at managements’ discretion. If you are late to pick up your child during the after school session, you will be charged the session time nearest to collection. If your child is collected after 5.30pm, a late fee of $1 per minute will be charged. Should late pick up after 5.30pm regularly occur, the management reserves the right to cancel enrolment.
Additional charges will be invoiced on a weekly basis and are due for payment the following week.
PRIVACY
Information provided by the parents/guardians in this enrolment form is required for statistical purposes, MSD audits, to ensure contact in an emergency, and to facilitate individual care and attention for your child. Porritt Care follows the principles of the Privacy Act of 1993. As required by the Vulnerable Children Act 2014, this information may be shared with appropriate organizations if there are any concerns for the safety of a child or another family member.
TERMINATION OF ENROLMENT
Porritt Care (in conjunction with the Porritt School Board of Trustees) reserve the right to terminate enrolment for any child who becomes a risk to themselves or others while at Porritt Care.
TERMS OF TRADE
You are responsible for all bookings and agree to pay fees as they become due.
It is the responsibility of the person booking to pay fees in the event that Oscar subsidies are not approved by MSD.
Failure to make payment under these terms may result in additional action which could include further charges and/or exclusion from services.
